The SeaCurtain Barrel-O-Boom System offers up to 46m of self-inflating oil spill containment boom for fast easy deployment. With a compact storage ratio of 12:1, the system is stored in a durable, stackable plastic drum complete and ready to use with a tow adapter at each end. The Barrel-O-Boom system also includes a tow bridle, two tow lines and sorbent pads.

Recovery is easy - pulling the built-in compaction rope, the containment boom quickly deflates and compacts ready for the drum.

The Barrel-O-Boom system
Includes one 95 gallon (360L) overpack barrel; containment boom with built-in tow adapters; two tow bridles; two 75 foot (23m) tow lines; and one pack of SorbenPak™ pads.

Barrel-O-Boom deployment
Barrel-O-Boom systems deliver a self-inflating containment boom with no valves for fast, easy deployment and does not require any inflation equipment or special tools. Each system can easily be attached to another to meet any containment requirements.

Barrel-O-Boom recovery
The Barrel-O-Boom is quick and easy to recover with the integrated compaction rope. Pulling the rope from one end of the containment boom quickly deflates and compacts the boom. The compacted boom is then ready to re-pack into the barrel for storage until the next deployment.

Barrel-O-Boom transportation and storage
The Barrel-O-Boom is easily transported by truck, vessel or aircraft. Barrels are stackable for convenient storage indoors or outdoors.
